It's time to make the switch!!
Due to equipment problems, WNIT is currently unable to broadcast an analog signal. Given the expenses involved, we are unsure if it will be possible to return the analog transmitter to service before the federally mandated DTV transition date of Feb. 19, 2009. WNIT sincerely regrets the inconvenience this may cause viewers who rely on over-the-air television. If you can no longer receive WNIT, please call our signal hotline at 1.866.964.8674 and we will provide you with all the information you need to restore WNIT programming on your set.
WNIT is already broadcasting two digital channels that are available to you right now. There are several ways that you can access this signal anytime you wish. The simplest and most effective is through the use of a converter box that is available for purchase at most electronics retailers right now. It connects right to your set and allows you to receive multiple channels from WNIT as well as from most other broadcasters in this area. Even better, the federal government will help with most of the costs of the converter box through a coupon program. To find a retailer carrying converter boxes near you or to sign up for the government coupon program, use the buttons above.

Digital channels 34.1 and 34.2 are available 24 hours a day. To receive them you must have either a television with a digital receiver/tuner, use a digital converter box, or receive your signal from a digital source (e.g digital cable or satellite).
