Here is a list of some of the questions that may be addressed during the show...
Q:There are a couple rough boys on the playground who have said some mean things to my 7 year old son. How can I stop these bullies and make my son want to go back to school? Most advice just isn't practical.
Q:My son has no interest in reading. We've checked his eyes and they're ok. He has trouble with some words and just gives up too easily.
Q:How do I get my daughter interested in math and science? We do things at home like make recipes but she's a little intimidated at school.
Q:My wife and I both work and we don't always have time to read to the kids at night. Some of the kids in my daughter's preschool can already spell and are starting to read. How can we catch our child up without turning it into a unfun chore for our daughter? We love to read and want to pass that on.
Q:My 5 year old thinks he has to be perfect the first time he tries anything. He often gives up in frustration and won't try again. I just don't know what to do. Telling him he doesn't have to be perfect doesn't help at all.
Q:I can't take my son shopping without him having a meltdown. I just want to be able to run some errands but it always ends with the both of us crying and I feel like a bad parent. I've tried the obvious things like making sure he's well rested and not hungry.
Q:My kids are18 months apart and at 4 & 6 fight all the time. I thought they would like having someone to play with but they're always in trouble for arguing and fighting. Sometimes the older one takes advantage of his size and hits. What should I do? I don't always want to have to take sides.
Q:I'm a single mom trying to be both parents to my son. I know little boys need their daddy but that's not possible. What can I do to give my son a strong male role model? We just moved here and my family lives several hours away.
Q:I want my kids to play outside but they say there's nothing to do. I don't want them on the computer all day. How can I get them interested in finding bugs and imaginative play?
Q:What if we try home schooling and we don't like it or my child doesn't excel?
Q:What should I look for in a classroom teacher? How can I be a helpful parent and not seen as a meddling one?
