WNIT Public Television and the Center for History will host the 2nd Annual Derby Day Party on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Center for History. Join us as we watch the two most exciting minutes in sports -- the Kentucky Derby! You'll feel like you've been transported directly to the legendary Churchill Downs! Enjoy classic southern cuisine like country ham, southern-style chicken, cheese grits, beaten biscuits, and chocolate-nut pie. Sip a Mint Julep and experience the exciting and colorful spectacle of Thoroughbred racing at the 136th Run for the Roses.

Ladies, wear your best springtime hat, and Gentlemen, you may say "ya'll" as often as you wish! There will be a Silent Auction and a dazzling Hat Show to round out the festivities. Tickets to attend Derby Day 2010 are $40.00 per person, and include culinary delights by the Matterhorn Restaurant plus a complimentary beverage.
