Harbor Country

Sawyer / Harbert

Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert is a census-designated place (CDP) composed of several small unincorporated communities in Chikaming Township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,344 at the 2010 census. The CDP is limited to Chikaming Township, although some of the communities extend into southern Lake Township. All of the communities are located either upon or just east of the dunes on the shore of Lake Michigan. Most of the communities lie west of Interstate 94, although the CDP includes a small area east of the freeway up to Sawyer.

Grand Beach

Grand Beach is a village in Berrien County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 272 at the 2010 census. The village is within New Buffalo Township on the shore of Lake Michigan near to the Michigan-Indiana border.

Lakeside

Lakeside is an unincorporated community in Chikaming Township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is situated on the shore of Lake Michigan just west of Interstate 94. It is part of a group of communities known as "Harbor Country" which includes New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Harbert, Union Pier, Grand Beach and Sawyer.

Three Oaks

Three Oaks is a village in Three Oaks Township, Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,622 at the 2010 census.

The village of Three Oaks is located in the southwest corner of Michigan, just 5 miles from the shores of Lake Michigan and within 2 miles of the Indiana border along US 12.

Union Pier

Union Pier is an unincorporated community in Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is situated between the Lake Michigan shore and the Galien River about five miles north of the Indiana state border.

New Buffalo

New Buffalo is a city in Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,883 at the 2010 census.

This city is within New Buffalo Township.

Michiana

Michiana is a village in New Buffalo Township, Berrien County in the extreme southwest corner of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 182 at the 2010 census.

Michiana is also the commonly used term to describe the southwest Michigan and northwest Indiana region, hence the name "Mich-iana".
