Native plants are well suited to thrive in our area and can make for beautiful gardens. For years the DNR has been helping to increase the numbers of some trout and salmon in Lake Michigan and some of the rivers leading into it. The Bowman Creek Educational Ecosystem project is committed to improving the quality of Bowman Creek and the community around it.
