There is a research project being conducted by students at Notre Dame that is measuring snowfall and the effects of different environmental factors on snow accumulation. The Potawatomi Conservatory is a wonderful attraction in the Michiana area where you can experience a relaxing environment with beautiful plants all around you. Shaded areas under trees and near buildings can often be a problem area when trying to grow grass or other plants.
