This week on Education Counts Michiana, we've found four more initiatives that are working towards education and building community. The Bridge Academy in Benton Harbor is an alternative school in job training partnership with Kinexus. Check out the Three Mirrors project at the Center for the Homeless and how guests are creating art from upcycled materials. The project works with local merchants to keep materials out of the landfill and provides jobs and education for guests. Meet Nicholas Buamah, a new author who is sharing his vocabulary with other students through books. Learn how the Science Academy at ETHOS Innovation Center is allowing kids to discover the world of science.
