The Underground Railroad Days in Vandalia, Michigan showcases the legacy of historical sites and those who helped ensure freedom. We visited Wild School at Luna Hill Farm for a look at nature and natural learning. South Bend Woodworks shared toymaking process and their educational partnership with Goodwill Industries. We learn about the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and how the program is getting books in the hands of children.

    The Underground Railroad Society of Cass County is celebrating its 10th year collaborating with the Village of Vandalia, Michigan to recognize the legacy of The Underground Railroad in their community. The Underground Railroad Days is a 3 day event where guests can engage with historical sites from The Underground Railroad, learn more about the history, and even witness a play highlighting the seven stops to freedom. The Underground Railroad Days takes place annually the second weekend in July.
