On the show tonight we take a trip to the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Community Center in Dowagiac, Michigan. Then, Rhonda Purcell will explain what they are doing to keep the Potawatomi language alive with their people. Finally, Evie Kirkwood joined us on the trip to Dowagiac.

On the show tonight we take a trip to the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Community Center in Dowagiac, Michigan.We'll be doing the whole show tonight and tomorrow from this wonderful facility.First we'll talk to Bob Moody, the Tribal Council Vice Chairman of the Pokagon Band.He'll share about the new housing addition that just opened and how it's helping to pull their community together.He'll also talk about some of the history of his tribe in the area.

Wesaw, Government Manager for the Pokagon Band about the new homes that were built in their community and how much thought and planning went into lowering the impact on the environment.
