About The Show
Michiana's Rising Star is a one hour, multi-part series that seeks to find and celebrate the many talented people that live and work right here in Michiana. From dancers to vocalists, magicians to musicians, they are all here and waiting to be discovered.
What can you win?

First prize is a cash award of $1,000 plus:
- Create a demo tape in the Ganey Studio.
- Co-host an evening with Gordy Young on Experience Michiana.

Second prize is a cash award of $500 plus:
- Co-host an evening with Gordy Young on Experience Michiana.
Where will auditions be held?
Live auditions will be held in one of five regional locations from 10am to 4pm. Applications for entry have been closed. Performances are open to the public.

- Kroc Center, South Bend, IN (May 25th)
- Lerner Theatre, Elkhart, IN (June 8th)
- Culver Academy, Culver, IN (June 15th)
- Warsaw High School, Warsaw, IN (June 22nd)
Who can participate?
Contestants must be residents of Michiana. See the complete list of rules and considerations. The deadline for registration was March 31, 2013. Applications for entry have been closed.
