The Dismas House residents welcome college students in yearly, to help around the house. They not only help by building pantries and other miscellaneous things, but they also build life long friendships. This internship program helps the students gain volunteer experience, and also provides them and the residents, a different perspective. The purpose of the internship program is to give an alternative view than what they are used to, as well as establish the connection that they are all on similar life paths. Just trying to build a better life for themselves, and those around them.
