"D.W. Read from Arthur. Strong middle child energy, a little chaos, and the enduring legacy of the 'tired DW' meme, which feels appropriate. And as part of the Read family, she's iconic to book lovers."

"My alter-ego is PBS KIDS Lady Elaine Fairchilde from Mister Rogers Neighborhood. She ran the Museum-Go-Round and had a magic boomerang that turned things upside-down. Friends in the neighborhood always helped her turn things right side up. She was known for being opinionated, outspoken and liked to stand up to King Friday XIII's demands. My son used to watch Mister Rogers Neighborhood every morning before preschool, and I remember watching Lady Elaine and appreciating that she could say things to people in authority, that I as a younger person, wouldn't dare say. That changed when I got much older! Although I do try to do it nicely."
