About this Segment
Diverse Classroom LibrariesThe Diverse Classroom Libraries project is designed to give students access to books that reflect a wide range of perspectives and cultures. Benton Harbor Area Schools and the Michigan Department of Education recently installed more than 30 new libraries in elementary classrooms as part of the project. Students can explore new ideas, build literacy skills, and learn more about their world.
