Education Counts Michiana - Maple Syrup Field Trips
Segment - Maple Syrup Field Trips
The LaGrange County Department of Parks and Recreation hosts maple syrup field trips for local school district and homeschool students. Kids walk through the forest to learn about tree sap, and they tour the sugar shack to see how maple syrup is made. The field trips are a great way for kids to get outdoors and learn more about the environment.
