Every year the South Bend Education Foundation provides community education on a topic of choosing. Dr. Michele Borba is an educational psychologist, speaker, and author. Her recent publication titled, “Unselfie: Why Empathetic Kids Succeed in Our All-About-Me World,” discusses the importance of cultivating empathy in children.
