This week\'s Education Counts looks at educational programs at the Krasl Art Center and K12 programs at the Lilly Center. We also explore other factors that impact learning. Mental health issues are starting to become more mainstream conversations. The Mary Morris Leighton Impact Series is presenting screenings about Suicide: The Ripple Effect to create healthy dialogue around suicide. Mental Health, School Discipline and the School to Prison Pipeline address a growing issue students face.

Every year Beacon Community Impact hosts The Mary Morris Leighton Impact series where they work to address a certain issue in our community. This year's impact series addresses mental. Community Members are invited to view a free screening of the documentary Suicide: The Ripple Effect throughout the month and at the end of the series member will get the chance to meet with Kevin Hines the man whom the documentary was inspired by. This series of events provides resources for people in the community to get help and help others.
