Education Counts seeks to promote initiatives in education that are successful and inspire replication. This week we feature a sustainability program at Hollywood Elementary School in Stevensville that is teaching students where their food comes from. Colere Quartet is inspiring future musicians to pick up an instrument and learn to play. P.A.C.T. stands for Promise Academy for Conflict Transformation which gives students tools for expressing emotion and helping them respond to conflict in more positive ways. Learn about the history behind women gaining the right to vote, who local key players were and how it has impacted our region.
