Getting outside and enjoying nature isn’t as easy for everyone, and we found a garden in Marquette Park in Gary, Indiana that was transformed to be more accessible. What is a Dark Sky Park and why is that classification important? We caught up with Robert Parrish to find out how a park recently became recognized as a dark sky park, why it matters, and what the benefits are for those can experience it. There’s an area on the south Side of South Bend that use to be a real dump.
