There’s an area on the south Side of South Bend that use to be a real dump. No really. A landfill that has now been reclaimed and is a great place for birders. We’ll find out how the reclamation process happened, and why it’s history as a landfill means it needs to be maintained in a certain way. And this all adds up to being a great place for birders.
