Episode #2321 - Understanding Political Polarization on Social Media
Director of the Polarization Lab at Duke University, Chris Bail joins us to explain that many of our thoughts about political polarization on social media aren't as accurate as we think they are: from how exposure to to opposing viewpoints actually reinforces our own opinions to the fact that most political posts on social media originate from a small minority of posters, Chris uses his years of research to help identify the problems and offer suggestions about what can be done about them.
