What is OpenID?
OpenID is a way to authenticate your identity on the web without needing to remember a username or password. Currently, we only support OpenID's provided by popular web services like Google. Just select your provider at the time of registration or log in, and you won't be prompted for a password. Instead, you will be redirected to your provider to log in (if you haven't already), approve the request, and you'll be able to continue seemlessly.
How do I get one?
Odds are, you already have one. If you have an account at any of the following websites, you can create an account through their authentication portal and we'll create an account or log you in on your behalf: Google, Yahoo!, or AOL. Your information and activity will not be shared with those third parties.
Why can't I use my Faceboook account?
While Facebook does not currently support OpenID Authentication, their authentication portal is not currently supported by us.
Don't worry, though. This feature will be available in the near future.
