Dinner & A Book - The House on Mango Street

Told in a series of vignettes, by acclaimed writer, Sandra Cisneros, The House on Mango Street is a novel of a young girl growing up in a mixed neighborhood in Chicago. Sometimes joyous, sometimes heartbreaking, this coming of age story tells the life of Esperanza Cordero who does not want to belong to her rundown neighborhood.
