Michigan Reconnect
Life never stops moving and finding time and money to go back to school isn't always easy. To help make getting those advanced skills easier, the state of Michigan launched the Reconnect Program. Eligible applicants are able to take courses at schools like Lake Michigan College for no cost.

Hornets and Hippos
Dr. Margaret Ann Jessop is a licensed child psychologist who since her early twenties as a preschool teacher, had a passion for educating children and writing stories catered towards them. She hopes that through her books Hornets & Hippos, she can convey her knowledge about attachment theory, mindfulness, and neuropsychology interventionism, as a means to prevent problems and address developing ones in children. One book is filled with relatable stories about dealing with anxiety and mental difficulties, the other is an interactive guide with cool activities to help children understand the brain functions, mindfulness techniques, and much more.

There are many factors to weigh when it comes to graduation and employment rates for Indiana residents. By looking at it from a macro level we can all see where and how we are helping and distributing aid across the state, so that students and workers can aim their efforts higher. Brian Wiebe, CEO of the Horizon Education Alliance, talks to us briefly about what we have been doing and where we could go, when making sure Indiana residents are getting the most "bang for their buck" in their educational pursuits.

To help, the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology created the AskRose homework help line. This service provides virtual tutors that make sure their students are gaining a firm grasp of all the material.

Pigasus Pictures Presents Renegade
Renegade is a screenplay written by Sam Stanton, a South Bend Adams High School senior. Renegade is about a near perfect student who decides to break out of his norm on the last day of school. The Screenplay was selected in a statewide contest sponsored by Pigasus Pictures of Bloomington, Ind., for professional development this spring.
