The camp experience offers a person the chance to grow and become their best selves. Camp Millhouse in South Bend is designed specifically for children and adults with special needs. Campers here get to have the full camp experience and learn how to become more independent in their everyday lives.

Students learn how to make new foods, take home recipe cards and sample cuisines from other countries.

Getting an early jump on education is an important first step in a child's life. For the past 50 years, Tri-County Head Start has served the residents of Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties in Michigan to give all children the chance to kick off their education in a high quality environment.

There are many ways to give back to the community. For employees of Barnes and Thornburg and Holladay Properties, they give back by volunteering. Partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County, volunteers come in to help provide assistance to elementary school students in various school subjects.

General Electric and the University of Notre Dame have teamed up to sponsor “GE Girls at Notre Dame,” a free STEM day camp for 50 female students in grades 6 and 7. Students experience a range of activities to engage girls in science and math careers.

Students of all ages can learn about animals at Peaceable Primates Sanctuary in Winamac. College students learn in the immersive internship while groups of all ages learn about care and conservation of rescued and retired primates.
