However, for those involved, reading was something that they did freely, without any need for an incentive. The Elkhart Summer Reading Challenge is just a way for them to further challenge themselves, and for them to have a reason to keep doing what they love.

Premier Arts in Elkhart has adapted to teaching, training and entertaining from afar. Students struggling with homework can call for assistance to the Retired Teachers Help Hotline.
