To address this issue Dr. Mary Bacon held a discussion called No Malice Required, Achieving Equity for All. This presentation helped to address cultural differences and experiences as well as how our differences can bring us together.

Through a partnership with Southwestern Michigan College, students at Lewis Cass Career Academies have the opportunity to gain college credit and choose a career path before they even graduate high school. Many of these students are first-generation college students who need extra guidance when it comes to making decisions after high school.
