Being chosen as Youth of The Year is one of the highest honors that a member could receive at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor. In order to be acknowledged members must embody the characteristics of a leader, both within the club and in the outside world. 17 year old high school senior TeKeidra Masters did just that, all while balancing jobs, sports, community involvement, all while enduring teenage growing pains. She tells us how she accomplished the feat, what it means to her, future plans, and how others can achieve what she did.
