Fernwood Botanical Garden is in their 50th year and a part of the celebration is creating a very large stick sculpture. Patrick Dougherty is the Stick Sculptor with the responsibility of designing and creating the massive structure on the grounds at Fernwood. It will last about two years or so and has taken many volunteer hours working with Patrick to complete. Gordy recently visited with Patrick at Fernwood as they near completion to get an idea of just how impressive this creation is. Get more info on Patrick Dougherty here: www.StickWork.net and more info on Ferwood here: www.FernwoodBotanical.org
