Dave told Kelly he wanted to get in better shape this year. That may have been a mistake as she challenges him with some different ways to approach fitness. First stop is Go Aerial Fitness in La Porte where Kelly and Dave will do some Aerial Yoga. It’s one of the many types of classes they have there and it’s a lower impact way to challenge yourself physically.

The Early Bird Eatery which is now inside the old Dainty Maid Co. building is described at a modern American brunch spot. They are open for breakfast and lunch and Courtney had a chance to meet the owners Jenn and Mike Stone to hear how they got started and what’s on the menu. And we must say the food is great.

There is always something growing at the Unity Gardens and Dave and Courtney were able to get a tour of the community building that is getting closer to complete. They also picked up a shovel and helped plant the potatoes as they found out more about how Unity Gardens provides healthy free food to neighborhoods throughout St. Joseph County.
