The Christmas Tree (Gift Shop)Madeline Kimball, Kathleen Kimball, Mary Ann Robinson More Information
In This Segment
Kelly and Courtney love decorating for the holiday (incase you didn’t know) and they found the perfect place to help them with that on the north side of Benton Harbor, MI. The Christmas Tree is a family run shop that has all kinds of decorations and much more. It was an idea that started in the family basement and grew into so much more.
Get a little tour of the store with Kelly and Courtney, and get more info here: http://christmastreegiftshop.com/

EC History in 60Julie Parke More Information
In This Segment
History is filled with rich stories that tell us how we got to where we are today. The Elkhart County Historical Museum works hard to tell the stories of Elkhart County and recently they started doing that in a new way. Julie Parke shared with Dave about a video series called “EC History in 60” that is on their Youtube Channel. It’s a quick way to learn a lot about the history of Elkhart County.

Hensler Nursery, Inc.John Hensler More Information
In This Segment
There are a lot of traditions when it comes to Christmas and the holidays and a tradition that dates back to the 1950s is Christmas trees at Hensler Nursery. Kelly makes the trip to Hensler to get her Christmas tree and John Hensler helps her pick just the right one as he also shares his family's story. The over 300 acres is home to more than just trees as most years you can browse through their gift shop, see a variety of animal, visit with Mr.and Mrs. Claus, and finds some wonderful treats to eat. Oh...and you can either select a pre-cut tree or cut one yourself.
