There’s a new effort called “The 360 Project” that partners the JJC with the South Bend Animal Care and Control. Incarcerated youth at the Center are trained how to train homeless dogs. Detective Jenn Gobel from the South Bend Police Department and Brad Braydon from South Bend Animal Care will share how it makes a difference. Find more info here:

The Michiana Family YMCA is having an event called “Cooking for a Cause: Greatest Chefs of Michiana” on Saturday, February 22nd at the Century Center. There are teams led by chefs from the area that will be make signature dishes in hopes of winning your vote.
