The I.U. South Bend Civil Rights Heritage Center and the I.U. South Bend Archives in partnership with the St. Joseph County Public Library have launched a new website you can check out at michianamemory.sjcpl.org It has been developed over the past year, and presents lots of historic photos, newspaper articles and much more celebrating African American and civil rights history in Michiana. Gordy talks with George Garner, Alison Stankrauff and Joe Sipocz about how they put this website together. There will be a special event at the I.U. South Bend Civil Rights Heritage Center on West Washington in South Bend on Tuesday, February 3rd from 7pm-9pm to celebrate the launch of the website.
