On this week's Experience Michiana, we learn about UZIMA! Drum & Dance's special performance, "Ndiyo ya Milele"—the Swahili phrase for "Eternal Yes." Taking place this Saturday at 6:30 PM at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, this moving concert honors the life of our dear friend and longtime host, Kelly Burgét.
Through vibrant dance, powerful music, and spoken word, UZIMA! will celebrate the joy, passion, and love that Kelly shared with everyone she met.
Join us as Michelle and Kelly's daughter, Zoë, share what this meaningful performance represents and how Kelly's spirit will continue to inspire through the art and community she loved so deeply.
