  Anne Drake is an artist with quite a story. She lost her sight later in life and then really started accomplishing things. Like earning three college degrees, and becoming a potter. She will be giving a talk this Friday to share the process she goes through as a blind potter. Her work will also be on display through June 24th at Fire Arts as part of a show called "Mud Buds, Anne Drake & Michelle Schafer".

  Edward Mitchell is a promoter and he wanted to give dads a fun experience to celebrate Father's Day. So he put together "Father's Day/Jueteenth Comedy Explosion" to bring together headlining comedians and local musicians for a great night of entertainment.
