PotawatomiZoo.orgDave headed over to the Potawatomi Zoo to check out what all the noise was about over there and Executive Director Josh Sisk introduced him to the new pride of Lions that arrived last week. They will soon be out in their now habitat that will allow for a more close up experience. On May 20th there's an adults only event called Eat & Drink at the Zoo where you can do just that. ChautauquaWawasee.orgTaps Across the Water at Dusk has become a favorite tradition in the Syracuse area. On May 28th at 9:08pm there will be a moment of silence followed by the playing of Taps by volunteer trumpeters spread around the three lakes: Syracuse Lake, Lake Wawasee, and Lake Papakeechie. It's a moving tribute to the service men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. If you don't live on any of the lakes there are public spots where you can go to experience this moving tradition. There is a map on their website: www.chautauquawawasee.org
