If you're looking for some entertainment this holiday season there is a lot happening at the Blue Gate Theatre in Shipshewana. "The Christmas Tree Ship" is a musical based on a true story that was created just for the Blue Gate Theatre and it will be on stage until January 4th. Kelly had a chance to speak with some of the actors from the musical. Then she met up with Andy Rohrer to find out about a lot of the other things going on at the Theatre, Restaurant, and the Shipshewana Event Center. The Michiana Event Center is only about a year and a half old and it's bringing all kinds of shows to the Shipshewana area. From concerts, to rodeos, expos and more. Kelly had a chance to find out about this new entertainment space as well as a great show that will be there December 13th thru the 21st called "Majestic Noel". It's a great show that features all kinds of performers including a wide variety of animals. There's even an option for VIP treatment with an amish made meal, and a chance to meet the performers. St. Joseph Michigan is a great place to visit for shopping or to hit the beach in the summer, but it's also full of activity in the winter. December 6th and 7th there will be a lot going on and show Producer Kelsy Zumbrun had a chance to find out all about it with Daniele Crevier. There's a "Lighting of the Bluff" where all the wonderful Christmas lights will be turned on by the Mayor. Following that head to the downtown for "Window Wonderland", where many of the shops will have special window decorations that you can view and vote on. On the 7th there's the 21st Annual Reindog Holiday Parade that will feature pets and pet owners dress up in holiday costumes. After the parade, children can give Santa their Christmas lists as he will be in Santa's house on the corner of State and Pleasant Streets.
