It's been a while since the Box Factory for the Arts has been able to be open for an exhibition. We had a chance to meet with Jane Rush and Jennifer Tomshack to talk about "Series 5" which features 5 women artists that are unique and moving. Biking for entertainment, exercise, and transportation has been growing in numbers and the South Bend Bike Garage is a unique volunteer run place that can help you fix a bike, buy a bike or earn a bike. It's a unique model that encourages giving of your time to help others, and in return you could earn a bike of your own. It's also a chance to learn from those who know how to fix and maintain a bike. Krista Bailey was able to find out how this is a sustainable mission when she talked to Dustin New.

Can you believe it but Kelly got lost shopping again! This time it was down in Plymouth at the Elephant's Trunk which has something for every taste. Pam, the owner took a chance and opened right in the middle of everything going on this summer. Her courage has paid off and we enjoyed our time there and think you will too. Did we mention free cookies and coffee?
