Jane Hunter gives us a preview of the June H. Edwards Chamber series from the South Bend Symphony featuring called "Hope & Triumph". The program will feature works of women composers performed by the Symphony Chamber Ensemble as well as some vocal music from Saint Mary's College Women's Choir. A new work by local composer Carol Kapson entitled "Journey" will be featured. A campaign is underway to Save the Oak Stumps at Potawatomi Park, and Rod Trailblazer Goodchild and sculptor Victor Riley share with Gordy why they're putting together a special fundraiser. The Save the Oaks Extravaganza takes place this Saturday, October 18th from 6 to 10pm at the Ella Morris Potawatomi Greenhouse.
