Free "Knife Work 101" class hosted by Unity Gardens. Learn how to the most important tool in your kitchen.
Having access to fresh, natural ingredients is great! Now learn how to prep them for a meal, and improve your knife skills. In this hour and a half session, Brette will talk to you about various kinds of knives, teach you how to care for them and keep them sharp, talk about cutting surfaces, and get you chopping, slicing and dicing.
Vegetables for practice will be provided. Bring a large baggie, or your favorite environmentally-friendly container, so you can bring your perfectly cut veggies home with you!
