On this weeks's show, The annual Taste of Unity is happening Thursday, October 22nd at the Palais Royale in South Bend. Sara Stewart and Chef Ken Slicz from Weiss Gasthous tell Gordy about this year's event which includes at least 15 chefs serving tapas style samples from their various eateries. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Aimee Herring from Prevent Child Abuse St. Joseph County and Amanda Ceravolo from YWCA shares some startling statistics about domestic violence and how it affects not only those involved, but also any children who witness it. There's something new brewing at Ruthmere Museum in Elkhart. It's Dr. Beardsley's Amber Ale! Bill Firstenberger tells Gordy about how this new brew was developed and where it's available. Colleen Spano tells Gordy about a free expo going on for anyone wanting to learn about autism services, programs, support and resources in our area.
