We travel to the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend and Education Curator Kelly Ulrich takes us to the classroom to meet a millipede, a snake and a hissing cockroach. Kelly also talks about the importance of inquisitive children being able to see some of the zoo’s creatures up close and personal in the classroom setting. The Potawatomi Zoo is the oldest zoo in Indiana and features more than 400 animals. https://potawatomizoo.org/Guests
