September was declared Underground Railroad month by the Governor of Michigan, and Cass County Michigan has a long and well preserved history being part of the Underground Railroad. Just on the North edge of Buchanan, Michigan is a Farmstead/Brewery that has been very deliberate on how they do things with sustainability in mind.
