Episode #1199 - Civil Rights Heritage Center

The Civil Rights Heritage Center is offering a chance to look at the life and works of August Wilson with a showing of "August Wilson: The Ground on Which I Stand". It will be in person only on Tuesday, February 1st @ 6:00pm. August Wilson's work is being highlighted also on stage by the South Bend Civic Theatre, so this will be a great chance to learn about the man behind the shows. The Poetry Den is also a regular feature at the Civil Rights Heritage Center and the next one is February 27th. While they've taken a month off you have a chance to watch past Poetry Dens on YouTube. Just search for the Civil Rights Heritage Center.
