Your stories matter! My WNIT Story has earned PBS Michiana – WNIT a 2025 Public Media Award, all thanks to the voices of our community!
PBS Michiana – WNIT has been honored with a 2025 Public Media Award, recognizing WNIT’s excellence in local content and placing us alongside the nation’s top public media organizations.
We won in the Integrated Marketing category for “My WNIT Story,” a series of digital shorts featuring community members sharing their personal connections to WNIT, highlighting how public television shapes lives across the region. Nicholas Ramirez, Jr. led this project from concept to production, and Mason Brown assisted on the studio shoots.
The Public Media Awards are presented each year by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA), honoring public media’s finest work in community engagement, content, education and marketing.
“My WNIT Story” reflects the heart of PBS Michiana’s mission—creating connections that matter and telling the stories of our community. We are so honored by this recognition!
