The Construction Club at Southwestern Michigan College provides opportunities for students to develop woodworking skills and prepare for future careers. Under the stewardship of Assistant Professor John Tinker, students in the club create a variety of products and grow as leaders and young professionals. The club also engages with local communities to provide support for events and promote awareness about construction trades.

Preschool is a time for learning and exploration. Students at the Wolf Lake Nature Preschool spend a lot of time discovering new things outdoors. The school’s philosophy includes student-led learning through curiosity, exploration and play.

KEYS is the youth philanthropy program of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and is comprised of students from four area high schools. Students in the program support a wide variety of educational initiatives through grantmaking and community engagement. The students also learn leadership and decision-making skills that help their development as young professionals.
