Snite Museum of Art is launching "Third Thursdays at the Snite" this Thursday September 18th. Bill Gowans Trio with vocalist Craham Pilotte will be performing. People will be able to enjoy art and music from the 1920s and 1930s and see the terrific display of four wonderful autos from the period. For details go to snitemuseum.nd.edu
How do you catalog as many plant and animal species at a place as large as Bendix Woods? You host a Bioblitz, and that's what they're doing on Friday & Saturday, September 19th & 20th. Amal Farrough tells us about the event, and brings along a snake for Gordy to hold on to during the interview, just for fun! Details at www.SJCParks.org
We never know in advance what upcoming entertainment Andy Hughes will highlight during his weekly visits, but we do know he'll pick four different options from around our area. Those events will also be featured in the Thursday edition of In the Bend in the South Bend Tribune. You can also check www.inthebend.com for more information about these events.
