    PechaKucha (Japanese for “chit chat”) is the world’s fastest-growing storytelling platform, used by millions around the globe. Pecha Kucha Night is for creativity and not for profit. Presentations are 20 images x 20 seconds each. Many cities often lack spaces where creative people can share their work, so Pecha Kucha Nights are about exposing the hidden creativity in a city. These events are held in over 900 cities globally. People use the platform to share hilarious, heartwarming, tear-jerking Pecha Kucha presentations at venues around the world.

    United Way of Porter County and its partners have been able to expand kindergarten readiness programs to meet need and lay the groundwork for a universal assessment process to evaluate the early childhood learning landscape in Porter County.Program expansion includes increasing the number of students helped by the United Way of Porter County. Kinder Camp, Parents as Teachers in-school, Ready, Set, Kindergarten are just a few of the programs sponsored by the United Way of Porter County. Approximately 500 students are helped every year.
