ETHOS STEM and Innovation Center launched a National Science Curriculum called Grade Level Certified. The K-5 initiative provides innovative lab kits to teachers and classrooms to expose students to grade level science standards. The learn, play, connect concept meets curriculum standards and the student engagement promotes knowledge retention.

Food sovereignty represents the right of peoples to control their land and food production. At the Vicksburg Cultural Arts Center, members of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi and Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi shared knowledge of culturally significant food and other natural resources. The event created opportunities for community members to learn about food sovereignty and take part in shared healing.

The JA in a Day event is one of the economic education programs created by Junior Achievement, and it covers all age ranges. K-3 students at Orchard View Elementary in Middlebury took part in activities such as creating piggy banks and designing businesses. They also learned from local professionals in different career fields. The goal of JA in a Day is to improve financial literacy skills and inspire students to dream big.
