The SPARC Project
The SPARC Project at the University of Notre Dame is working to strengthen relationships and support communication in families with a child who is either intellectually or developmentally disabled. The other goal is to find the best ways to promote effective communication and conflict resolution.

Get Inked
For writers to grow their skills, they need a place to learn and grow. But teenage writers don't usually have that place. To remedy this, Saint Mary's College hosts an annual teen writing conference called Get Inked. Young writers get the chance to present their work and receive feedback from published authors.

Strong Beginnings Pilot Preschool
Parents can have a hard time finding childcare since there aren't many childcare opportunities for children aged 3 that fit within what they can afford. The Strong Beginnings childcare program at Marcellus Elementary in Cassopolis aims to prepare 3-year-olds for their next step with early education, free of charge to the parents.

When it comes to a child's education, vision needs aren't usually seen as a factor that can affect the outcome. The Kindness to Prevent Blindness program, sees this problem and wants to ensure that students are seeing clearly enough to accomplish their academic goals. They know that vitality of vision in learning and want to do their part to make sure that learning can continue to be seemless and fun for students.

Violence is an inevitable yet very disrupting aspect of life. However mothers in the South Bend and Michiana area, who are the unwarranted victims of violence, want to educated the youth and community on how a violent act affects us all. They do this by spreading awareness and also providing a place of community and understanding for those who have lost a loved one to violence.

Alpha Kappa Alphas Scholarship Cotillion
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's mission is to make sure that young minorities in the Michiana area, are continuing to break generational curses, by pursuing higher education. They do this with their scholarship cotillion that teaches, young ladies & their cotillion escorts, the importance of their value in society, as well as how to build vital connections for their futures. The ladies are then able to contend for scholarships from the sorority, towards their academic advancement.

ARS Gallery\'s 10 Year Anniversary of the \"I Am the Greatest Project\"
John Suave is an artist from the Michiana area who rose to prominence in 2012, presenting 16 of his sculptures for the "I Am the Greatest" project at ARS Gallery. This project has since been in continuance, spreading inspiration and creativity, to the community, through the gallery's workshops.
