Join me and my guest Emma Wynn as we discuss Rachel Joyce's "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" as we prepare a pub lunch for a hungry pilgrim.
Harold Fry, age 65, has just received a letter from a colleague of 20 years ago, Queenie Hennessy who has cancer and is in a hospice in Berwick-upon Tweed on the north coast of England.. He writes Queenie a short note and decides to post it. Eighty-seven days later Harold finds himself 627 mile in the North of England having walked from Knightsbridge on the English Channel to Berwick-upon-Tweed on the north coast of England. What happened and why does he do this. To find out, let's meet my guest Emma Wynn as we prepare some tasty pub snacks.
