Episode #1032 - Entrepreneurship
According to Forbes Magazine, 7 out of every 10 businesses that start up survive 2 years, half survive 5 years, one third at least 10 years and one quarter at least 15 years or more. Also referenced, is that only 39% of all small businesses will make money in the lifetime of their business, with 30% breaking even and another 30% will lose money over their existence. However, the number of U.S. patents filed has made a resurgence over the last 10 years with U.S. and China leading the world in number of patents filed, so Entrepreneurship is growing. This week, local and regional entrepreneurs provide their thoughts on what it takes to be an Entrepreneur.
